This position assists the Dentist at chairside during examination and treatment of patient. The position also involves assisting in the dental lab and performing clerical duties related to the dental program. HS diploma/GED required. Must have 1 year Dental Assistant Certificate from college or technical school; OR minimum 1 year related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of experience and education. Requires current NM Board of Dental Health Care Certification in the following areas: Dental Radiography (DACR), Rubber Cup Coronal Polishing, Application of Topical Fluoride, and Pit & Fissure Sealant Application. Must have BLS/CPR certification upon hire. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Wage range: $13.00 to $14.00 per hour, dependent on experience as certified dental assistant.
